DESCRIPTION: A.PRESSE 2026 COLLECTION RELEASE ITEM.

Based on the USMA M-44 HBT Jacket, this jacket uses two different herringbone fabrics in subtly different colors to recreate the two-tone look found in vintage garments. The front patch and left chest pocket have been enlarged and lowered for a more comfortable fit.

The front gas flap has been removed, the shoulder slope has been increased, and the armholes have been lowered while the front of the jacket has been slightly sculpted to improve ease of putting on. The warp threads are made of double-ply extra-long staple slub yarn, and the weft threads are woven with alternating threads of strong and weak slub yarn to create a herringbone fabric.

This expresses the natural unevenness in the warp and weft that is characteristic of vintage fabrics, which arose from the limited spinning technology of the time. The exquisite unevenness of dirt and fading has been recreated by skilled craftsmen.
