The outer fabric is made of a high density thick weft thread used for 13oz class fabrics, and the warp threads are made of original cotton that is densely woven to create the nep feel of the immature spinning techniques of the 1930s.
Based on the 1930s US NAVY denim jacket, which has a simple design reminiscent of a box shirt, this item has a shorter, more compact collar. A wider rolled stitch machine is used, which gives the overall width a slightly different look and feel to the rolled stitches. The stitching is a slightly greenish grey, the buttonholes are shirt holes, and the buttons are originally plastic but have been arranged into original tuck buttons.
Recreating a vintage look, the product is finished with a texture reminiscent of an art piece, through a series of processes that can only be achieved by hand.
