A. PRESSE was established in 2021 by brand director Kazuma Shigematsu. It is a quite novel and eye-catching brand.

The brand is committed to faithfully reproducing high-quality fabrics, silhouettes and other details into its designs in its collections, striving to create enduring daily wear that is not limited by time.

In addition to the classic retro elements, the brand's styles and tailoring are also made with high-quality materials to create a modern quality. This model is based on the pants worn by the mountain rescue team of the 40's U.S. ARMY. The material has been updated from 22AW to spring/summer. The back satin, which uses a special warp and warp double thread, has a significantly fewer number of warp threads than regular back satin, giving it a unique look similar to weft twill and a soft texture. It has been mercerized, giving it a glossy look with little fuzz, but it is dyed with sulfur to give it a refined vintage look. The distinctive zippered waist pocket has been deliberately removed and replaced with a double-welted pocket. The waist is set just right, but the hips and thighs are loose, giving it a gentle taper.
