DESCRIPTION: A.PRESSE COLLECTION RELEASE ITEM.

*This is a Tweed Hunting Jacket from A.PRESSE.

This model is based on the "Forestière" hunting jacket made for the architect Le Corbusier.

The outer fabric is a herringbone pattern tweed woven with Shetland wool as the warp and silk nep and French linen as the weft. The texture of the top-dyed Shetland wool is mixed with the fine texture of silk and the luster of linen to create a rich tweed material. Another point is that the surface is fluffy and puffy by entangling the fibers of the fabric through long washing.

The design makes use of the good points of the original model, which beautifully combines elements of different items such as hunting, military, and tailored styles, while reviewing the balance that is too aristocratic and classic, and arranging the details to make it suitable for casual wear. The biggest feature is that the balance is mainly when worn with the buttons open and the collar laid down, and the front of the collar, which is tightly packed in the original model, is deliberately strengthened.

Details include patch pockets on the body and elbow patches. The buttonholes on both sides of the front are also very nicely tailored. The lining is made of cotton. It has front, sleeves and back (half lining) and two inside pockets.

This piece is attractive for its high design quality, which is known as a masterpiece from Forestière, and for its use of tweed material that is light and soft yet has a nice texture. The collar has been arranged uniquely by the brand, giving it a classic look with a casual, relaxed feel.
